The Team

Rounded Labs was founded by Ansar Mehmood and Zahid Younis both of whom have over 6 years commercial experience within the mobile sector. Our team is made up of extremely talented individuals who are immensely proud of the work they do.

Ansar Mehmood

Co-Founder and CEO

Since founding Rounded Labs I have had about 3 hours and 43 minutes of sleep, yet its been amazing throughout. I get to work with some absolutely brilliant individuals, all of whom I have come to see as true friends. We've worked on projects big and small, from the 1 man startup with a brilliant idea for a game changing solution to the large agencies who regularly partner with us on key client projects. To everyone who has placed their trust in us, I'd like to say 'Thank You'.

Zahid Younis

Co-Founder and CTO

Since founding Rounded Labs I can say i'm honestly beginning to forget what it was like to sleep. My role as CTO means I'm in charge of the technical strategy here. I have been involved in the development of mobile software for the past 7 years having landed my first role as a mobile games developer not too far from our current office. I have developed software for virtually every major phone OS out there starting with the 'Write once, and again, and again" J2ME to being heavily involved with the iPhone since its first release.

Ayaz Ahmed Khan

Technical Architect

Symbian ninja, Python junkie, Django wizard, and Linux aficionado, like everyone else here I wear many hats at the same time. Im the person everyone comes to when Symbians legacy Epoc related madness gets too much to handle, even if that means having to call me at 3 in the morning (hey zahid).

My role at Rounded Labs has me involved in various mobile and web projects. I'm particularly awesome at iPhone and Python development. I completed my internship at CERN whilst at University and have been dreaming about Neutrons ever since.

Since joining Rounded Labs I have been thrown straight into the deep end of the various Android projects here with an awesome product set for release soon!. I'm also particularly adept with Python development which will certainly prove useful on most of our Web projects.

Tom Fletcher

Freelance Developer

Im the youngest member of the team, in the final year of my Uni degree course at Birmingham University. Currently working on developing a Java compiler in C++, yeah why oh why did I choose that. My role at Rounded Labs is always varied from working on mobile widgets to slicing and dicing xHTML and CSS.
