what we do
We create mini adventures
The mobile phone has revolutionised the way we all interact. From its humble beginnings as something that was the exclusive of company execs and mafia bosses to mass adoption amongst entire nation populaces, it sure has come a long way. Consumers now have the ability to browse websites, make 1 click purchases, use geo-location to find nearest points of interest, play 3D graphics intensive games and much much more. Organisations are only just beginning to realise the potential of such a powerful medium.
Mobile UI DesignWe pride ourselves on creating stunning looking mobile software, be it games or applications. There's a big difference in creating a good interface and creating one which has mass appeal. All too often compaines make the mistake of treating the mobile space much the same way as they would a website. This has resulted in the abundance of ill conceived and cumbersome mobile software. The User Interface is key with any mobile software application. Applications need to be tailored to make full use of very limited screen real restate. At Rounded Labs we have created our own proprietry UI framework allowing us to rapidly build great looking User Interfaces thereby allowing our clients to get a feel for their application very early on. |

Software DevelopmentAfter agreeing the User Flows and Interface designs, our team gets busy coding up the various modules of the application. We have an excellent set of individuals that are experts in key mobile platforms. We've developed everything from small games for Windows Mobile to a Fitness Application for the iPhone utilising the built in GPS and with accompanying Web Application. |

PortingWhether you have an existing application you'd like ported to other mobile platforms or you'd like us to port your current application simultaneously, we have the necessary in house skills to do this effectively and quickly allowing you to concentrate on your marketing strategies. Larger agencies quite often outsource their clients porting needs to us allowing them to offer their cleints a wider range of mobile platforms than would previsouly have acheived. |
